Slovenia : Wild Gourmet Escape

This eight day horseback adventure is a deep dive into Slovenia’s wild and peaceful landscapes. You’ will ride through remote valleys and forests, visit lakes and mountain plateaus, and connect with nature and local culture at a relaxed pace. Friendly hosts, beautiful horses, and fine Slovenian food — including specialties prepared by a private chef — create a truly unique experience.

The riding pace is relaxed to moderate, with opportunities for faster canters where the terrain allows.

Our guide Borut has been organizing trails for many years in this region. The horses, mostly warm bloods, quarter horses as well as Icelandics and are ridden in western tack.
